In Palestine, 1000 B.C. The Jews are ruled by the Philistines. Samson, anaspiring Jewish revolutionary, wants to marry Shemadar, a Philistine, although it is his younger sister Delilah that Samson truly desires. The wedding turns into a fight in which Semadar is killed; Samson, who despises Delilah, becomes a supporter whose strength overcomes armies. But Delilah, now Saran's lover, believes she can discover Samson's weakness.
