DAWN picks up where NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD left off, but still doesn't explain why the dead walk the earth, and delves into one of the most brutal and original horror films ever made. After securing a building overrun by flesh-eating zombies, two members of the Philadelphia SWAT team, Peter and Roger, escape to a television station, where they escape in a helicopter with Francine and Stephen, two station employees. In search of refuge from thezombies and the resulting hysteria, they find themselves on the roof of a shopping center in Pittsburgh, even though the undead appear to be gathering there. What starts as a stop for supplies turns into an extended stay as the four find themselves embroiled in a senseless war at the mall to keep their bodies to themselves and survive.
