The sequel picks up where the previous film left off: Dr. Loomis pumps villain Mike Myers full of lead, then watches helplessly as the homicidal maniac gets up and runs away. Laurie Strode, the teenager most recently terrorized by Myers, is taken to a nearby hospital to recover from her traumatic experiences. But Myers isn't done with her yet, and the night monster tears apart the sleeping city, leaving a torrent of blood in its wake. Determined to take revenge on Laurie, he ends up in the hospital and the dark secret that binds them is finally revealed.
