It is an adaptation of Stephen King's novel in which Christopher Walken plays Johnny, a man who has been in a coma for five years and wakes up knowing that he can predict a person's fate by touching them. When Johnny realizes that he can change the future, he quickly takes action in the face of manypossible tragedies. As a result, he soon becomes famous for his talent, but he misses his old life when he had a job, a girlfriend and a normal life. But when he shakes hands with the future President of the United States.(Martin Sheen in a wonderfully subpar performance), who may turn out to be the greatest mass murderer since Hitler, Johnny struggles with what seems to be his fate.
