After a bet between two wealthy commodity traders, the fortunes of a street trader (Eddie Murphy) and a blue-nosed broker (Dan Akroyd) are reversed. The establishment's innocent victims try to survive in a new, alien environment, resulting in hysteria. When they realize that there has been a change in them, they decide to take comical revenge on the directors, played by the great old actors Ralph Bellamy and Don Ameche.
