Ronald Miller has been in love with the beautiful Cindy Mancini, whose name he doesn't even know, for years. For Cindy, Saturday night is a party, while for Ronald it's poker. Plus, Cindy is dating the former college football star turned pro who turns a deaf ear to her. Cindy finds herself in a dire situation when she borrows her mother's $1,000 suede dress without her permission and ruins it. The only person who has money to replace the dress, unbeknownst to his mother, is Ronald. However, Ronald tells her that the only condition for him to give her the money is that she pretends to be his girlfriend for a month. As the month goes by, she begins to take an interest in Ronald. But he is so obsessed with popularity that he is blind to his feelings. What's more, he also starts teaming up with his new "friends" to make fun of his old friends. Can Ronald find his way before he loses Cindy and everyone he cares about?
