Bart Tare has loved firearms since he was a child. After he leaves the army, his friends take him to a fair where he meets the perfect girl: Annie, a fellow shooter who loves guns as much as he does. The two elope and marry, but Annie is dissatisfied with her financial situation, and so, on her orders, the couple launch a series of daring heists across the country. Bart, who has never killed with a weapon, is forced into oblivion by the greedy and brutal nature of the woman he loves.
