The melodramatic story of a man suffering from an incurable illness. The story begins with Dr. Bhaksar wins a literary award for a book about a patient named Anand. The rest are just flashbacks. Anand, the main character, suffers from intestinal lymphosarcoma. However, on the outside, he appears happy and determined to enjoy the rest of his life as much as possible.Dr. Bhaskar, his doctor, takes care of Anand in his last days. However, after Anand's death, we can still hear his voice recorded on cassette. Dr. Bhakser writes a book about his patient and wins a literary prize for it.
