Nikolai is a Spetsnaz, a top Soviet agent trained in secret work. Tasked with infiltrating and suppressing an African rebellion, Nikolai soon finds himself drawn to the guerrilla cause, a betrayal that angers his Russian superiors, who order his immediate dismissal. Escaping across the desert in the company of a hostile American reporter, Nikolai joins a tribe of rebellious Bushmen, his ferocity in battle earning him the nickname "The Red Scorpion." Nikolai's newfound independence culminates when he leads the rebels against his former comrades, storming their headquarters in a deadly and merciless encounter.
