First we meet Ugly, who jumps out the window after killing the people who tried to get him. There's also the evil Angel Eyes, a mercenary who kills a man to find out where a large amount of gold is; then he kills the man who hired him. We finally see Good called “Blondie.” He captures Tuco and turns him over to the authorities for a reward, but then pulls a rope from Tuco's neck and shares the money with him. They continue thisbusiness relationship until Blondie decides there is no future and so places Tuco in the middle of the desert, 70 miles from the nearest city.
