A wonderfully funny adaptation of the Broadway musical about Professor Henry Higgins, who bets Colonel Pickering that he can turn Eliza Doolittle, a dirty, foul-mouthed Cockney bridesmaid, into a lady and make the whole world believe that she is one too . ! She does so and the young aristocrat Freddy Eynsford-Hill falls madly in love with her. But when Higgins takes all the credit and honor to appreciate his efforts, Eliza leaves her the paint for Freddy, making it clear to Higgins that he is used to his face and that he can never live without it.
