Retired thief Thunderbolt and friendly drifter Lightfoot meet when Thunderbolt jumps into Lightfoot's stolen car to escape a bandit. The pair embark on a bizarre journey pursued by Thunderbolt's former employees, the sadistic Red and the idiotic Goody.
