Since his appearance on the martial arts film scene in 1973, Jackie Chan has become one of the most famous stars in the world. In "Spiritual Kung Fu" he plays a student of the Shaolin Temple who always plays the fool, but surprises his masters by proving to be the bravest and most talented student. When her colleagues are too cowardly to guard the temple's scripture hall becauseis supposedly haunted, Jackie seizes the opportunity and volunteers for the job. Inside the shrine he soon meets the ghosts of the forbidden book “Five Fists in Five Styles”.Although the martial arts technique in the book is considered too dangerous for anyone to learn, Jackie quickly masters it. This allows him to easily master the difficult tests that his teachers give him. The student's greatest challenge, however, is an encounter with a group of evil warriors. Will the fighting style the spirits have taught him help him defeat his troublemakers?
