Set in the mid-1930s, Annie is a lively young orphan forced to live in a miserable orphanage run by the tyrannical Miss Hannigan. Her seemingly desperate situation changes radically when she is chosen to spend a short time in the villa of wealthy arms industrialist Oliver Warbucks. She quicklywins the hearts of the family and even the seemingly heartless Warbuck family can't help but fall in love with this wonderful girl. He decides to help Anna find her long-lost parents and offers them a reward if they come to him and prove their identity. However, Miss Hannigan, her evil brother Rooster, and an accomplice plan to impersonate these people to take the prize, putting Annie in grave danger.
