Set in 1935, teacher, explorer and superhero Indiana Jones is at work again in his new story. However, this time he teams up with a nightclub singer named Wilhelmina "Willie" Scott and a twelve-year-old boy named Short Round. After the sacred stone is stolen, they arrive in a sad Indian village where people believe evil spirits have taken all their children away! They also discovered a mysterious threat surrounding the booby-trapped temple ofknown as the Temple of Doom! The Thuggee seek to rise again, believing they can rule the world with the power of all five Sankara Stones! Now it's up to Indiana to stop Thuggee's activities, rescue the lost children, win the girl, and defeat the Temple of Doom.
