Once upon a time there was an ardent grandfather who told his grandson in bed an ironic story... Unfortunately, their ship is surrounded by pirates and Buttercup cries for ages, believing that Westley is dead. She reluctantly agrees to marry Prince Humperdinck, knowing that she will never love him. Humperdinck has his own plans for marriage,anyway: he intends to kidnap and kill Buttercup to start a border war that will strengthen his power. But in the end she is saved by a mysterious pirate, who turns out to be Westley in disguise.
