Ventriloquist Jerry Morgan has failed in another love story. Reason: When the relationship reaches the point where it's time to talk about marriage, herClarence doll becomes mean and jealous. His girlfriend Audrey leaves him and Jerry breaks his two dolls, Clarence and Terrence. Morgan's puppeteer Papinek is part of a spy ring that stole the secret plans for Lafayette's top secret plane. When Morgan leaves for Zurich that evening, he decides to use the Morgan dolls as a mailbox forand hides a secret plan in the dolls' minds.Another secret spy network also wants to get Jerry's luggage and is pursuing him. Eventually, Jerry is hunted by these two organizations and the police, who suspect him of murder.
