Canadian pilot Gregory Peck and two comrades crash in the Burmese desert. The three men are forced to scatter and crawl to safety, surrounded on all sides by the Japanese. Peck's subordinates don't fully trust their boss, and for good reason: Peck's nerves have been frayed for months, and this experience could shock him.
