Since Frankenstein and Hans are forced to leave the city due to their experiments, they return to Karlstad, Frankenstein's hometown, and open a laboratory in Frankenstein's abandoned castle. Frankenstein then finds his original creation frozen in a glacier and brings it back to life. Except he doesn't respond to his commands. He then comes up with the idea of enlisting the services of Zoltan, the famous carnival hypnotist, to hypnotize the monster and force it to obey. Zoltan succeeds, but he hasscientific interests at heart and takes advantage of the fact that the monster only responds to his commands and uses it to steal and get revenge on the city authorities.
