Wealthy 23-year-old athlete Judith Traherne suffers from painful headaches and double vision, and her family doctor, Dr. Parsons encourages her to accompany her best friend Ann King to a consultation with a renowned specialist. After a physical examination, Dr. Frederick Steele determines that Judy has a fatal brain tumor, a glioma, and immediately performs surgery to remove the tumor. However, the bioinflammation test results suggest he has less than six months to live, but Dr.Steele and Ann hide the diagnosis from Judy. Meanwhile, Judy and Dr. fall in love. Steele, decide to get married and move to Vermont. But Judy finds the correspondence in the lab, becomes very depressed and begins drinking and leading a promiscuous life. Later he realizes that he should spend the last moments of his life with his love.
