In Montreal, industrialist François Delambre receives a call late at night from his sister-in-law Hélène Delambre. She tells him that she has just killed her beloved husband André Delambre by pressing on his head and left arm withthe pressure of the soles of her feet. François calls his friend Inspector Charas and later Hélène is reluctantly persuaded to tell them what happened. He explains that Andre invented a matter transfer device and while he was experimenting on himself, a fly entered Roomand swapped hands and heads with him after the transfer.
